The Posada continues to receive children and families that are being treated at the hospital. In these times of Covid, the challenges are evern greater. We are so grateful to our fellow Manitos board members and to the members of San Peregrino Foundation on the ground.
An especially big thank you to Tachi, who is our unflagging liaison in Asuncion and an inspiration. He wrote –
Dearest Manitos family:
3 years from a very special day!. Since then, hundreds of children and their families from all corners of Paraguay stayed at the Posada with dignity and comfort giving them a place to stay, meals, care, and love to these children hard fighting cancer. A joint effort of Manitos Foundacion in New York and Fundacion San Peregrino in Paraguay. Congratulations Claire and Richard for this amazing dream and effort to honor and celebrate Emily´s life and to each of you that supported this with care and love this journey that has touched and impacted so many little fighters of cancer in Paraguay
